Youmu
"HOLY CRAP... I JUST BEAT MY OWN DUNGEON RECORD!!! *gasms*" Admins: 1 Nr, Sonic3190, Micahal, Hypernova78, or Madam, Micwukicku Main world: 7 (F2P) [hide=Purpose and Aims]Our main ideals are the following: - to introduce F2Pers the tips and tricks of being a pro dungeoneer- to find new, unique ways to dungeoneer- to foster a place for efficient dungeoneering- to help world 7 (the official dungeoneering world for F2P) distinguish good and bad dungeoneers We don't focus on other styles of dungeoneering (P2P dungeoneering, 2cb3sk in world 61), but other dungeoneers may use this chat as well.[/hide] [hide=Requirements]In order to dungeoneer with us, the following levels are required. Note that although other skills aren't listed in this list, it is always beneficial to level your stats as high as possible, in order to bring out more damage and/or open up more bonus rooms. You may still use our chat if you don't meet all the skill requirements yet (or are still on your way to getting these). However, we expect you to get these levels as early as you can: - 40 attack & strength, for all fractite weaponry- 64 magic, to use the group gatestone teleport (and fire blast)- 45 prayer, to use all available prayers- 27 runecrafting, to craft cosmic runes There are no dungeoneering level requirements. However, it is highly recommended to be able to access all 35 floors (69+ dungeoneering), so you can host/join any floor you want. Other recommended levels include: - 35 runecrafting, to use a magical blastbox- 54 runecrafting, to craft law runes for yourself- 65 runecrafting, to craft death runes for yourself- 49 smithing, to be able to smith all fractite equipment- generally high combat stats (70+ melees and constitution, high prayer), for survivability and better DPS in guardian doors and bosses- 90+ ranged, to bring out heavy DPS with a shortbow- high non-combat skills to open up bonus rooms (you cannot make potions in F2P) Note that none of the above apply to skillers.[/hide] [hide=Ranks]Ranks in this clan are given out according to dungeoneering level, but star ranks will only be given out if you show that you are capable of dungeoneering well. The stripe ranks in the chat varies according to dungeoneering level. Please note that a higher rank/dg level does not equal to being a better dungeoneer. Here are the ranks: - 1 stripe: All recruits. - 2 stripes: 90+ dungeoneering. - 3 stripes: 100+ dungeoneering. - star ranks: undecided as of yet, but these are to show recognized dgers. Admins will have a group meeting about ranking people up to these ranks if we think they deserve the rank. - keys: Admins. They can kick/ban, invite people to cc, and rank people up. (If you are in another clan, you don't need to leave it - simply join Dungs as a guest :) )[/hide] [hide=Binds]To dungeoneer with us, your binds must be one of the following: First BindsAll players should have a fractite spear bound; if the player is a pure, he/she may bind a fractite 2h instead. Ammo BindsAll keyers, or those that are learning to key, should have cosmic runes bound. People without 54 runecrafting should have law runes bound. All non-keyers should find a magical blastbox as soon as possible and fill it with 125 blast charges. Binding cosmic/law runes instead is an acceptable alternative. Non-keyers with 90+ ranged should have fractite arrows bound. Second BindsThese heavily depend on your ammo bind: - if you have cosmic or law runes bound, bind a fractite 2h. - keyers may bind a fractite platebody as their 2nd bind. - if you have a magical blastbox bound, bind a fire or catalytic staff. - if you have fractite arrows bound, bind a spinebeam shortbow. Third and Fourth BindsBinds after this become a bit more flexible. You may bind any of the following: - fractite maul- fractite gauntlets- fractite boots- air staff- anything mentioned in 1st/2nd that you didn't bind A Slight Note on Fractite PlatebodiesPart of the process of being a pro dungeoneer is learning survival techniques (pray conservation, looting during GD's, sidestepping, luring). Hence, we discourage the usage of armor as a bind and should only be used when keying. It is not a disallowed bind, but keep in mind your team may not benefit as much from it.[/hide] [hide=Rules]Most of these are common sense, but everyone in the chat are expected to follow these rules: - People in this chat go out of their way to help others. To not listen to our instructions is utterly disrespectful and will not be tolerated. - No excessive or malicious trolling/spamming in any way. - If you have a problem with someone in the chat in particular, please PM one of the admins. Do not start arguments in the chat. - You are not allowed to kick from parties, or leave/ditch dungeons without a valid reason. - If you are doing leech floors, the leech must be someone not in the chat. If we find out you are paying people in the chat to leech, you will be kicked (and possibly banned) from the chat. - Please do not use us as a free ride to get your gravite 2h's or anything of the sort. This goes against our aims of teaching people pro dungeoneering skills, and will be looked down upon. :shame: Keep in mind you do not have to be an active dungeoneer to be within this chat. You may still chat with us as long as you use common sense and follow rules.[/hide] [hide=Floors we do]Generally, we do frozen and abandoned 1 floors as small, furnished as small or large (depends on deepness of floor), and abandoned 2 as large, all as 5:5. However, there are certain circumstances where we may do something else (5:1's, guide mode rushes, c1's). Medium dungeons are generally ignored as a whole, but are good for soloists to practice keying skills by themselves.[/hide] [hide=Conclusion]In the end, we hope that you get something from dungeoneering out of us! We want to make world 7 as less stupid as possible, and by contributing to dungeon progress, you are helping us support this cause. We hope you can get some fun out of this too, and share the good times. This concludes our advertising. Hope we get to know you in the chat ;) [/hide] BlogTrimmed | Master Quester | Final BossBoss pets: Bombi | Shrimpy | Ellie | Tz-Rek Jad | Karil the Bobbled | Mega Ducklings120s: Dungeoneering | Invention

lnfernuus
Wish you luck with this. :) Two things you got to teach first:1. 'End' means come and end as fast as you can, not after you cook your food/make armour etc.2. Lordxtrm
I'm sticking by my platebody bind. It helps since my combat is (nearly always) the lowest; speeds up as I have to eat/pick up food/pray less. But otherwise, yeah.:D Joined, and good luck with this.:D
Youmu
I'm still debating the practicality of a platebody, but for the time being we'll allow people to bind these, until further notice is given. Also debating about the bronze star rank. Should it stick to the 100+ dungeoneering requirement? Or make that the experienced dunger symbol and therefore stripes no longer represent it? Gullible
Doesn't matter if you ban the platebody, i'll always use one  Also, it would be good to have a guide to keying in f2p, would help so so much <3:
Youmu
Made some changes to ranks. Bronze star is now given to anyone that is capable of pro dging, regardless of dg level. However, we will examine this closely and won't just give these ranks out to people. Yeah, we need keyers so so much >.< I might write some tips about keying if I have time. Youmu
for some reason i think its boring it took me hour to get lvl 5I can run you through the basics if you want, just join the chat or PM me (private always on) and I'll dungeoneer with you  Before you're level 69 dungeoneering it is always best to use any experience items on dungeoneering, to be able to access all 35 floors. Also, get 35 runecrafting at the very least, and try to get to 54 as soon as you can. Youmu
We have opened up the clan chat "Dungs"! The ranking system will be a bit different from what used to be. 1 banana = recruits2 banana = 90+ dg3 banana = 100+ dg In addition, stars will be made harder to get. We have not yet decided specifically what each of the stars represent, but any ranks up will involve a discussion between the admins. I will edit the guidelines according to the new cc.
