Making a simple music video in iMovie

Featured Replies

Hey -

so I want to make a simple music video in iMovie - all I'd like to do is place an album cover in the video and have the music playing - no animations, just a single image, like this;

I've tried and tried to figure out how to do this in iMovie, and I just can't! I'm using iMovie 08. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks

Just under the preview area is a row of buttons to grab stuff easily.

Hit the camera button and u can drag a photo/image into your project. Then hit the musical note to drag in a music file and drop it onto the image.

Should do exactly what you want, the clip will run as long as the music and display the image

I've found the iMovie to be much harder to use than windows moviemaker, which is a huge shame.
