Never ever save a pixel pic as Jpeg, use PNG format. About the sigs themselves.. The first one is just a Buddy pic with a two color BG, not much to cc except that you only made the background which well I'll say needs to be worked on a lot more, also make a character on your own from scratch. The second pic, the coins are copypasted from an RS screenshot, draw your own, they're just round things they can't be that hard to draw. The BG is ok, the jpgness blurs it way too much. It seems you'd need to shade a bit more. The character is too skinny, and take away all the brown from around him.

The second one looks like the guy in "Where's Waldo!", Waldo.
