i always been big on barrows, helps having decent luck there anyway. late last year a friend challenged me to obtain a 100m barrows collection through drops (i'm big on collections) prices at the time meant it wasn't going to be that tough, anyway this is how i left it in january, worth about 65m or something.

of course i come back from a break in october and the same collection is worth 23m. interesting, but it just means i have to get more stuff which is fine. Took some time to get the quests done and got the akrisae pictured in about 50 runs, which also netted a dh helm and top.

the runes are an accumulation of about a billion years of barrowing

as you can guess that lot's only about 30m, the real thing i'm pleased with is that i feel i've finally perfected my barrows set up, which covers everything and causes dart to max at about 32 (apparently). It helps having loads of extr mage pots after 99 herb too. I guess changing the armour for bandos wouldn't hurt but it's ugly (and the shield is crap)

This challenge has a personal aspect; the friend who set it for me is a Bahraini citizen, and if you follow current affairs to any degree you'll know living in Bahrain at the moment is far from fun. I don't hear from him much either which always makes me worry, so continuing this task is important to me even when i play so little.

scape on!

good job man. ive always had near abysmal luck at barrows, so seeing your get all this makes me maaad.

but seriously, gj dude

(+ rep for not being all "oh i have to use x,y,z gear otherwise im not doing it efficiently enough)

Wow you still play o_O

Keep at it, all the best ! Don't let the market discourage you too much either, haha.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
