January 20, 200620 yr I was hoping someone could confirm this for me. When I was lvl 57 mining, I was using a mith pick, in the craft guild. I decided I was about to go buy a rune pick, but I was going to fill out my inventory with gold first. I got a lvl 79 rock golem at that point. Typically I would have just run off, but I had a bow and arrows with me. I killed the golem and got a rune pickaxe drop. Has anyone else gotten a rune pick drop froma golem? Thus far everyone I talk with had no clue that they drop rune picks.
January 20, 200620 yr The rune pickaxe is listed as one of the possible Rock Golem drops in our Bestiary. Remember, the SEARCH button is your friend. Use it!
January 20, 200620 yr Three theories I have about random event (guardian) monster drops. 1. When you've only just reached the next strength of random (tough fight), drops are better. 2. Higher level = better drop. 3. The maximum drop YOU can get, is only ever an item YOU can use.
