Dungeoneering Prestige?

Dusk Souls

Recommended Posts

I am just level 15 and though I know it is better to use other XP sources on DG till higher levels I really I am really enjoying doing solo dungeons. Also to the best of my knowledge there are extremely few XP items like lamps in f2p. Therefore I want to get the best XP rates I can.

From what I understand I shouldn't reset my prestige unless I have ticked all of the floors I am currently able to do right? And does complexity have something to do with it, I am doing small dungeons complexity 6.

Thanks in advance.

Correct, only reset once you've done every single floor you can go that they're all ticked.

Since you're only level 15 DG, you might as well just C6 all your floors.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Complexity has no relation to prestige. Prestige merely refers to the number of floors you checked off on your last reset. It is always best to try to tick off all the floors you have before resetting, as the base xp you get for completing a dungeon is the average between the floor's base and your prestige.

As an aside, the term "0 prestige" is used to describe a situation where you are doing a floor in a set that has been entirely finished already (e.g. you have checked off all your frozen floors, and you go to complete floor 2). In such an instance, the xp calculation at the end of a floor is doing with your Prestige set to 0 rather than what it normally would be. This means you are getting noticeably less experience.
