Farming Timer Improvement

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

i'm new on forum, but im using Tip.It site from '06, and I would like to thank all of you about this web site care! :)

But ..! .. I'm trying to get 97+ farm soon, and everyday i use Tip.It Farming timer (you can find it in special calculators), and everyone knows it dont tell you the right time, when your garden growed up..

So when my trees, fruit trees and specials are ready for pick up, i still wait about 30 minutes - 1 hour till i start farm trip. But when i plant some trees and go sleep, in morning i really don't know when is the

right time to harvest it.

And here is my idea to improve, why not add time, when the plant has grown by Tip.it farming timer, below the inscription "Ready to Be picked!".

Example:

Taverly

Status: Ready for Picking!

Yew Tree

Ready to be picked!

19:30

I do not know if others (why I founded this topic), but it would help me. :)

Thanks for responds and sorry for my poor english! :/

Thanks:)

Hi there and welcome to tip.it :)

This sounds like a great idea to me and should be do-able to implement, I'll poke a coder to have a look (I wouldn't know where to start! :P)

On the issue with inaccuracies of the timer, that mostly comes down to how farming works ingame and protected trees. If something becomes diseased it can cause the grow time to be lengthened significantly, and additionally plants can become diseased (and then cured by the farmer if protected) multiple times during the growth cycle, meaning sometimes fruit trees can take upto 24 hours to grow and odd things like that. Could also be affected by at what point in the farming cycle you planted your crops too

Best solution for that is just to add a slight buffer to your time between farm runs, maybe like +10% to account for disease and other problems to make sure they're grown :) additionallly you could bind an amulet of nature to a patch to tell you ingame when its done :)

Welcome to the Tip.It Forums!

The change you suggested (to show the time at which the crops should be finished) has been implemented and will go live soon!

Bogsie edit: it's live.

Just one little wish please.. O:-)

I dont know you add it only to the first phase, in first i really dont mean to make it there:D

Can you add this really good improvement into the second phase just like this:

FarmingTimer.jpg

Becouse at the first phase i see how much hours are left, but when it grows up i dont know when.. :-)

I'm sorry i wasn't more punctual about that.. :/ And thanks again:p

Thanks for clarifying! The timer now shows the time after the patch is fully grown, in addition to while its growing.

Feel free to PM me with any further questions or concerns.
