J35u5_M4
I recently formatted my whole system, installed all drivers, etc, etc. Internet was working just fine (My computer uses wi-fi) but ever since yesterday, it started giving me real issues while playing runescape, I can open websites just fine, and it's going fast, but when it comes to runescape, I keep having major lag that lasts for about 10 seconds, and constant disconnects, anyone have any clue what could I do to fix? I'll give whatever specs you ask for
Sbrideau
Are your graphics card drivers and Java up to date?
J35u5_M4
Yes they are, oddly enough I tried playing RS on Firefox rather than chrome, and it worked better, but still lagged, decided to use the client and now it works just fine o.O
JPMC Mate
The symptoms you presented make it sound like it is a Runescape server issue. I have the exact same problem with the same symptoms. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
Randox
Yes they are, oddly enough I tried playing RS on Firefox rather than chrome, and it worked better, but still lagged, decided to use the client and now it works just fine o.OIf its working fine with the client, then I think its probably an issue with Java. The client doesn't use your systems Java (the idea is that it doesn't even require you to have it installed). I mean, it could be something with the browser, but using a different browser should have eliminated it if that were the case. You could try either doing a system restore if you like, to a point before you started having any trouble. If any setting somehow managed to get changed, and that is what is causing your issue, this would be the easiest way to fix it. If you'd rather not do that, then I would say totally remove java from your computer, and do a clean installation of it. That should get it back to working condition. JPMC Mate
Speaking of Client, in Texas, is there no way to get it? Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Randox
I imagine if you used a proxy server to make it look like you weren't in Texas, you would be able to download it. I think the problem is that the client somehow breaks state laws there, so its unavailable to people who have an IP address that resolves to that state. Also, the client isn't very big. You could probably have someone email the thing to you.
