January 5, 201214 yr Well I'd like to do a few barrows before returning to frosts/slayer, but I have some questions regarding equip: I already own rapier/polypore staff korasi/eee + guthans body + verac skirt + glory + blessed spirit shield (and zammy book/drag def). The plan is to mage all except ahriim/tunnels who I will be meleeing. Does EEE or korasi work better? Yet I have around 15-20M "free", I was wondering on what I could spent this best on:- bandos corpse plate to replace guthans body- bandos tassets- fury Also I don't have spec restores/extreme magics, so maybe I should spent some cash on making those instead? First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.
January 5, 201214 yr Use void if you have it. Use a dds/claws on Ahrim. SS Verac, Akrisae, Guthan, and Ahrim. Idk if you can SS Dharok, and praying anything but range against Karil is a bad idea, especially in void. Melee Ahrim and Karil, Melee + PPS Akrisae, and PPS the others. Don't bother with kc. You should only be using 1 ppot per chest, max, and healing shouldn't be an issue. If you don't have SS, then use the appropriate prayer, and bring an eee. If you don't have void, you can just go in Ahrim's or Bandos. Use an arcane stream when maging, and a fury when meleeing.
January 5, 201214 yr Spec Restores and Extreme magics are strictly unnecessary, so unless you were going to get the levels for them anyway, I wouldn't get either just for Barrows. Neither do I have soulsplit, so that leaves me to EEE? Or food? Also is ahrims better than verac considering you dont'need magic offense? Is dds better than korasi? January 5, 201214 yr Honestly, the only equipment that matters is your weapon, and you're good there. You could go in bronze armor and there wouldn't be a huge difference. It's probably best to maximise strength bonus while keeping your magic around 0. Bandos + a staff is probably good enough, but I don't think that's in your budget, so I'd go with Ahrim's and switch to a bandos chestplate when you melee. DDS is probably better than Korasi's, since Ahrim has low slash def. A couple pieces of food might come in handy if things go sour.
