New computer

For someone building a PC, and extra $100 for an OS is nothing.

Nah, not that. 560TI is in any configuration a good buy.

Come on man, maybe it is cause I come from Eastern Europe and I have the mentality of why pay when you can have for free without any legal trouble.

I hope you're kidding me. Are you trying to say that a OcUK GPU is made with the same materials, the same quality, as a MSI or EVGA GPU? You're wrong on so many levels.

I'm not seeing where you're getting OcUK from?

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 560Ti 2048MB

Is what is listed on his final build.

I'm not going to be doing any heavy overcloaking, and besides i will be changing a few small things by september anyway like the cooler. This computer is so i can work from home if i need to, as i have been working from home for 3 months due to being really sick.

And i still don't see where OcUK is coming from, thats who's selling me the card but the BRAND is EVGA, its not in anyway built by OcUK...

Don't buy an i7 960, you're buying into a dead socket.

Here's something I quickly specced up:

This is where I'm getting it.

This is my final build, don't think i will be changing anything:

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 560Ti 2048MB

Why can't the Big Bang be done by the hand of God?

It could have, but it is next to impossible because it also could have been caused by the flying spaghetti monster, or one of the other infinite number of deity possibilities.

Oh, for video editing extra RAM will help out. If you don't want to spend the extra £40 now though you could just go with the 8GB and stick another 2x4GB sticks in at a later point if you see fit, it's really just plug and play. It depends on how much video editing you do and how intensive it is, ie is it HD video etc.

Yeah i'm planning on buying 8gb now, and then in a month or two adding another 8gb in.

I want to do gaming videos in HD, and my university work is going to become very editing dependant, and i work better at home then at university. ^^
