Laboman
A few days ago I wanted to make my own oak planks to work on construction again (oak dungeon doors),and I tried to balloon from Castle Wars with a full inventory of oak logs (plus 1 payment log) but I was too heavy :(I guess that rules out this method...Is running from Varrock west east bank the only option? Please do not just suggest buying planks... Thank you in advance!Laboman Whenever you see someone in a skillcape, you should yell: EMOTE !! ErnieLoco
You can run a full load of oak logs using the balloon from castle wars. You just have to keep your weight low. The weight limit is around 40kg, and a full load of logs is somewhere close to that. I did it in the past wearing just jewelry, a cape, and the boots of lightness. You can use other weight reducing gear like the spottier cape and the agile top and bottom as well.

Thank you Ernieloco, That would be wonderfull, I don't have agile top or bottom but I can try with just the boots of lightness and my charged duel ring. Hopefully this will get me < 40 kg.If not, would buying a spotty cape be a good idea? Cheers!Laboman Whenever you see someone in a skillcape, you should yell: EMOTE !! Fat_Slug
When I used to get my own planks I would balloon with just hatchet and correct money for one invent. Then I would cut logs right outside the planker, plank and tele to CW. Yes ok you are taking a little longer by cutting the logs but its easier than struggling with the weight in the balloon, or running from Varrock imo. Lord Paul
If you can't get under 40, then just leave a few logs behind tbh. Have you considered planking with your butler? Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
