Noxx
I started Dom Tower again today in the hopes of getting a few Pairs of each of the Gloves within the next week or two. I currently have 214 Boss kills. I do not know much about Dom Tower to be honest. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a POA.What would be the fastest way to reach my goal? Which mode should i be playing, etc.
RSI
When i went for 500 kills, i wanted all boss kills as well as the kill count. I did Endurance from 1 to a really bad boss (e.g avatar). Then repeat, remember if you have class A boss left, try and get above endurance lvl 7 before resetting, cos thats where class A bosses can only appear. Once you have the specific boss kills you want/need, do either climber or endurance till you meet a shit boss, reset and repeat.
Zaaps1
Endurance is the fastest way to rack up boss kills. I brought void with rapier/ddef and claws as a spec weap, although as you'll quickly see, it might as well be your primary. I brought anti-dragonfire shield, chaotic xbow (later dominion xbow), chaotic staff, celestial surgebox, ice gloves, and a stack of fire, water, earth, and air runes. Also I brought 3 overloads and 1-2 prayer potions (you shouldn't need it unless you really get in a jam, or for the final stage of Korchesi the Deathless, as turm speeds it up quite a bit since you should also be saving your dclaw specs for the final stage). The rest I filled with scorpion meat. You won't even need the scorpion meat most of the time. As have the claws equipped as default. This way equipping the rapier + ddef leaves you a free invent space. Useful for Sigmund, Delrith, Pest Queen, and Agrith-Naar, as you need to pick up gear for those. Also pick up both runes for Chronozon as the surgebox won't let you do blast spells. Basically you bum-rush the bosses with your dclaw spec. You shouldn't ever need to do anything else unless it's a high-class boss or you need special equipment. Since you'll consume no food, you should be able to kill any single upper-class boss on the trip should you encounter it, provided you have SS/Turm. That includes Nomad, Zenevivia (who is honestly a no food needed boss, along with Pest Queen), and the 3 Monkeys. Everything else should be a pushover. Literally everything else. Unless you do something stupid, like forget to equip your shield on Elvarg. You should not need a familiar, although bringing a uni probably makes doing those class-A bosses a bit more relaxed, especially Nomad and the Monkeys. To reset, just loot the Reward Chest after the fight, no need to go down the chain. That wastes time. Just loot the chest, take the book, and go UP the nearby stairs, selecting Endurance. Once you kill all the bosses, you shouldn't do Nomad, Pest Queen, the Monkeys, DT Trio (actually this isn't too bad, you could do it if your Dominion Factor was high enough. It's pretty easy with melee pray you just might need a sip or two of pray pot if Damis forme 2 takes too long), Decayed Avatar, and Dagannoth Mother v2 (this too isn't too bad and might be worth doing at high DF). Of course, since you should be able to do any of the bosses anyway, feel free to do ANY of them at high DF if you aren't overly concerned with speed. The xp rewards are very nice at high DF. Everything else is a quick enough kill. If the Dagannoth mother-based bosses really annoy you, you could skip. If you don't have Ice gloves, skip those relevant bosses as well. But seeing as you have every elemental surge + ranged as well as Ice gloves, both of these shouldn't take too much longer than the standard boss. I typically did them. EDIT: The only bosses that require food: Nomad, 3 Monkeys, maybe DT bosses, maybe Zeneviva and Pest Queen and Dag Mother v2. Those last three REALLY shouldn't, but mistakes and oddities happen. Bosses that may require prayer: Nomad, 3 Monkeys, maybe DT bosses (depending on how Damis is feeling), maybe Pest Queen (depends on errors, do it right and you'll need no prayer), Korsheci the Deathless (because turm + dclaw spec makes sort work of the final phase that would take quite a bit longer without prayer). ~It's Super Effective!
