Actually that's like the best way to make money on F2P for the noobies. But if you're a member, flax picking is SO much easier :) I didn't have any original bad money making ideas as a noob; I was all over the bannana thing :) But then I got my full steel set that way, and I was having quite a lot of fuss getting full black... so then I discovered the fishing docks and got my fishing above level 40 and fished lobbies, then swordies once i hit level 55. Then later I discovered that there were even better ways. Later meaning after I earned enough for full rune, and after RS2 was finally released. Yew chopping FTW :) ... now it's nat crafting.
