Ok, this thread has outlived its usefulness, OP you have you answer. In the future, maybe your friend should consult a doctor in regards to future medical issues, though dandruff is hardly cause for concern. I wish him luck in his treatment via anti-dandruff shampoo, which in my own experience, works very well.
