Basically, does a hunter potion's boost (or mud bath's boost) stack with the invisible boost of a spirit larupia or arctic bear? I've been getting different answers from other sources. Thanks for any help.

Yes, invisible boosts (summoning familiars) stack with visible boosts (potions, mud baths).

 

That doesn't mean that you can use invisible boosts to attempt something you don't have the level for.
