Reivaxlorp
Hello all!I am new to this forum but i'm in no means new to Tipit and I decided to include my idea for a suggestion here today. My Suggestion would be a skill summation at the bottom of the Quest Calculator for the maximum skills required to complete all quests. Each individual quest is highlighted red when you do not meet the requirements and highlights specifically which requirements you are missing. Since the calculator is already able to identify what you are missing and display it, i thought it would be a simple code update to include the highest value of the missing score so that you have a target goal without having to comb through each Red Box. I also thought of including all quests that are considered pre-reqs for other quests but I assumed such an idea would be mundane as you won't finish all quests in one day regardless. An Example:The Quest Calc displays 3 boxes, being red or green as being unavailable or available for completing.Quest 1: All requisites are met, you may complete this quest.Quest 2: Requires 60 Woodcutting and 50 Runecrafting before you can complete it.Quest 3: All Skill requirements met, requires Recipe for Disaster before you can complete it.Quest 4: Requires 72 Woodcutting and 30 Farming before you can complete it. With this input, the bottom of the quest calculator would display:72 Woodcutting, 50 Runecrafting, 30 Farming to complete all quests. Quest 1 is not shown because you are eligible and Quest 3 is also not shown because pre-quests are not a part of the calculator. The requirement for 60 woodcutting is super-ceded by the requirement for 72. I thought this would be a helpful idea for people like me who set our skill goals to finish all quests. I will gladly clarify my idea to any who has inquiries and if the idea is popularized, I will gladly help with any input I have available. Thank you,ReivaxLorp

Ned
Hey, no problem! We love getting suggestions, especially great ones :) Anyways, we will be implementing this once the new website goes live since it will have to be recoded for that no matter what. Thanks again for posting this! Want to help the Tip.It Crew? Visit the Website Updates & Corrections forum!
Reivaxlorp
Hello! Sorry to revive this thread but I figured my new thought would be better here than in creating a new thread entirely. As for the summation of required skills for quests; would anyone on the calculator team think it's worth it and efficient to perhaps integrate the idea for the Tasks as well? It's a little different because it'll be spread across a much large board (6 task pages but 1 quest page) and also the stats aren't as difficult to keep track of; nor are tasks as important as quests. If anyone thinks its worth the time, feel free to have at it, I just provide the idea :D ~Reivax
MageUK
For the Quest Calculator at least, I'll add this feature when I get home in about a week. :)
