ShadowTheHedgehog
Hey guys, I've just come back from a rather lengthy break from RS and i've decided to train my WC and fletching in order to harvest from the bloodwood trees. Right now i'm training at ivy but it seems to be much slower than it was before I left, though that might just be my imagination. Where is the best place to train WC? is it still ivy or are there better alternatives for lv 80+. Also, what is the best method of training fletching for a fairly poor character? (73 fletching) Thank you for your time,~Theblastmage
Tainaith
For pure exp, Ivy is the best, and it gives an okay profit from bird's nests, so it's not completely profit-less. For fletching, you can fletch maple longbow(u)s all the way to 99 and make a profit while doing so (just sell the bows after cutting the logs, no need to string). Edit: Ivy is exactly the same as it's always been. *99 Cooking Achieved: 4th of July, 2009--99 Fishing Achieved: Christmas Day, 2009--99 Woodcutting Achieved: May 4th, 2010--99 Magic Achieved: September 11, 2010--99 Fletching Achieved: June 14th, 2012--2000 Total Achieved: July 2nd, 2012**1100 Dominion Bosses defeated*Heroes of Newerth player -- IGN: SaveTehPandaStarCraft 2 player -- IGN: plasmaJelly

Edit For fletching it depends on your income level. Having money doesn't matter, what matters is how fast you can make it. 1 Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword
ShadowTheHedgehog
are those exp rates with super-fast dropping methods or banking methods? but that sounds pretty good for my needs at the moment, i only need 1.25mil exp for now. thanks =)
Th e Doctor
Its 1 click dropping at pines, teaks is with low alching the logs. Those are also max rates (99 wc with inferno adze, lumberjack, and wc juju). Hedgehog
My apologies, I include effort as part of something being "best." :PYou're not wrong in thinking that, since productivity takes effort into account. However, you are wrong in assuming that the lack of effort is worth 60k xp/hour - you can't assume everyone values laziness as much as you do.

Mmm, I do value my laziness. ^.^ But seriously, I've been out of the WC loop for a while, and I'm still getting back into the game. I gave some simple, easy to follow advice and Tieszen gave better/more efficient advice, I'm perfectly okay with that. I'll try to keep efficiency in mind a little more with any future help I try to give. :D *99 Cooking Achieved: 4th of July, 2009--99 Fishing Achieved: Christmas Day, 2009--99 Woodcutting Achieved: May 4th, 2010--99 Magic Achieved: September 11, 2010--99 Fletching Achieved: June 14th, 2012--2000 Total Achieved: July 2nd, 2012**1100 Dominion Bosses defeated*Heroes of Newerth player -- IGN: SaveTehPandaStarCraft 2 player -- IGN: plasmaJelly
Platinum_Myr
Fletching, you should string bows, (buy unstrung and add strings) over fletching logs into unstrung bows. (It's faster, and usually cheaper) However, if you have enough gp, you can do things like broad arrows which give very fast fletching xp, at relatively higher costs. It really depends on how fast you can/want to obtain gp. Th e Doctor
Pretty sure addy bolts are worth doing over stringing bows even at low income levels.
