rilo kiley Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 because of the coming EOC (evolution of combat) it is preferred to make a new style of "pure", at the very least 50 defence is recommended. my friend made his new one 80 att (for chaotics) 50 def, 99 str, 99 magic, 99 range, 99 hp 96 summoning, 95 prayer, i think in modern wild its combat level 107+ 12, but in eoc i think it will be 149 or something.im not the best person to comment on pures, i only pk with my char i don't have a pure, but my friend is a very good pure. i guess the reasoning for higher def is because of the hp boost you get from armours in eoc, with iron or whatever 1 def pure wear you get 1 hit constantly, but with like 50 def you get alot higher hp iOwn.... Quyneax Posted August 12, 2012 Share Posted August 12, 2012 With the EOC coming, 99 attack+strength gives the same combat level as 99 range or 99 mage, and prayer/summoning/hp all don't matter anymore. So basically max all combats but defence, which you keep at around 50 for rune, or 60 for dragon if you feel like that.
