Hi!

 

Looks like this item is used to 'feed' your clan avatar in order for you to be able to use its buffs.

 

More widespread knowledge will probably be available after the avatars have been around for a while.

 

Also, I think that you need 300 anagonic orts before you can 'feed' them to the avatar.

I dont think this is a set drop from Iron Dragons- Pretty much everything seems to be dropping them
