  1. ^ this person has [offended my sensibilities] and I guess, didn't get the point of the article. 'Pathos of distance' was a concept created by Nietzsche, a philosopher, and this is a very interesting interpretation of it. Kudos for tackling such an advanced concept, the article was a good read!
  2. I guess I was wrong to say that it wasn't profitable alone, I suppose it is, but, that siad, somehow EVERY time I go, there is always a pker pair that shows up and I have to tele. I'd like to go as a pair because it's more fun, less risk and all around more enjoyable :) Still hoping for a partner.
  3. In the Some like it Cold quest a reward is that you get a Freddy Mercury-esque jacket that you can wear AS A PENGUIN. As a penguin you can't do anything much, though. Nice goal :)...... or is it fantasy? jk
  4. Maybe it's still profitable alone, but if anyone's interested, I would really like a partner! PS: if you ask nicely, I'd even front a polypore staff, so no risk for you (only for an extended PKing trip), otherwise there'd be no point.
  5. Hi! Looks like this item is used to 'feed' your clan avatar in order for you to be able to use its buffs. More widespread knowledge will probably be available after the avatars have been around for a while. Also, I think that you need 300 anagonic orts before you can 'feed' them to the avatar.

  7. I've been to the rev caves, gotten pk'ed and I've been to the drag spot by the Eastern sea in the wildy with like 8 dragons, gotten pk'ed there. Its only profitable now in pairs, so you don't get pk'ed.
  8. Hello everyone! I've been looking around for a while for a partner to pk green dragon bots in the wilderness for a little cash (upwards of 1M an hour for minimal risk) and to put a dent in the botter's egos. I'm making this topic because I can't really pk on my own anymore, there are too many pjer's and pker's who will duo me to death. That's basically why I've decided that safety in numbers is the best option. As for stats, you'll need a decent cb lvl and defense to tank the bot's hits. I'm lvl 113 atm, but above 100 should be alright. I have 86 mage for teleblock so you won't need it, but I do use polypore because it's cheap so you might consider it as well. Nothing else really to note, except that (while unfortunately theres no way to prove it), I would NEVER lure you for gear, in fact I only pk with the polypore staff alone for that reason, and I hope you would do the same! PM me in game (Jslayer999) or on the forums! Hoping to hear from people soon!

  11. Movement is useful when the yellow wizard needs to be found. If you can find him in under 3 mins then that is the best rate of xp.
  12. I also have a candlestick if it's required :)
  13. Granite is good, but if you want to AFK the mining (minimum clicking) you can level up to 68, do the 'King of the Dwarves' quest (which also gives 45k mining xp, and train at the Lava Flow mine till 76. That's what I did for the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest. With a drag pickaxe xp at the Lava Flow mine is about 30k/hour. Its kind of the mining equivalent to Ivy. Good Luck!
