Howlin0001
I am really thinking about getting a Raspberry Pi (model b). Has anyone gotten one yet? If so what OS are you using for it, should I try get a 32gb sd card to run the OS and whatever programs I want to install/ anything else I should know/do? Markup
I have one running the debian 'squeeze' image. In terms of bandwidth, the SD card interface is a bottleneck, fairly poor speeds. It's probably cheaper and better to external HDD via usb port? I havn't really used mine though. E: You will need an SD card to boot though, I bought an 8GB SD for mine. Mercifull
What class SD card were you using? That could explain the poor speeds. So I purposely bought a class 4 (SanDisk 8GB SD Card - Class 4).
