55-already open, that is what it says all the time. After i installed it it wont download anything to start the game. it said there was an error trying to exstablish a connection to the update server, to try to select a different host. also, error: connot write file to disk also, error: 35761 request timed out.

This appears to be a problem with the connection to the CDN we use to serve updates, would you be able to tell me what country you are from as we've noticed some users having troubles and are trying to narrow down where the problem lies? (State too if applicable and you don't mind)

I am from California, U.S. it works well on one of my laptops, but the other one, when i press launch it shows that error.

scratch that, it doesn't work on my other laptop aswell, i thought it did.

I will pm you a temporary solution until we can find a more permanent way to resolve this.

Could you help me too ?

I had this problem for a long time and I can't use SK either.

Have you tried recently? We pushed an update which might have fixed it.

It can download swiftkit[Caution: Executable File] but not swiftkit-rs[Caution: Executable File]

He is getting a cannot write file to disk error, so I wouldn't say it's working perfectly.

But the fix seems to be working, it re-tries and continues on. SK loaded up fine judging by the output.

It only worked because I downloaded the swiftkit-rs[Caution: Executable File] from somewhere, I can't remember where. But it didn't work at the first startup, I had to manually download the sk-rs[Caution: Executable File] file

If you downloaded it manually somewhere I'd be vary as we can't vouch for the authenticity of files from 3rd party locations and strongly advice against getting them from any such locations.

I downloaded it from a topic where a guy had the same problem as me and they posted the sk-rs[Caution: Executable File] file to him.

Any other ideas ?

Managed to make it work by taking the Windows ownership of C:\ProgramData\SwitKit directory.

ps.. no firewalls blocking, tried different folder locations, getting the error 35761 (cant write file to disk), then immediately after i get error 50..
