HappyNooblet Posted October 27, 2012 Share Posted October 27, 2012 So here's the dealJust today i've been hacked in the time frame of 6:30a.m. to 12:30pm PST.I do NOT have JAG.I've entered my password carefully over 20 times, so that wasnt the problem.I've hurried over to the account recovery center, and i tried to enter my email, but it said that it was invalid.I know that i only have ONE email that i would ever put on this account, so that leaves out that option.I also checked my email if there was any messages from jagex that i've changed emails, passwords, anything. No emails from jagex whatsoever. But the fishy thing here is, that i have no emails from jagex, i should've had emails from jagex from before, emails that my loyalty points have been delivered, and things such as that. No presence whatsoever. I've also run a virus scan, and my computer is totally clean. So i can't even get near the recovery process, messages to jagex are near useless, what do i do...I've literally ran through every option.... I'm so confused. I don't know how the recovery system works anymore, but if I were you, just post in most of the threads located here: http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?250,251 Other than that, don't bother trying the [email protected] e-mail, will take you half a year for them to reply, just e-mail their billing support team and tell them your situation, and threaten them to manually remove your credit card associated with the account, that worked for a few of my friends. You must've put it on a different email address, otherwise you would have those emails like you said, unless of course you are suggesting the hacker inexplicably went to the trouble of deleting every single rs related email you had. Check app data for rats (in the case that its a lazy kid who doesn't know how to save it to other locations) Type %appdata% on the search spot when you click start. Delete anything fishy. Type msconfig on the search spot and go to the start up tab and delete anything fishy. If your feeling brave and have a guide check your registry as well.
