So, at the moment, I have penance, and greater reverence. Which one which one would be more beneficial for general slayer, assuming praying piety but not protection prayers? What about the next tier of reverence?

It would depend on what you're fighting. If it's something where you won't take much damage, then go with reverence. If against something that hits a lot, penance would probably be better but you'd have to balance healing or end up using protect prayers which makes penance useless. So, reverence would probably be best all around.

You only need the healing versus waterfiends and mithril dragons, and the other dragons if you choose not to use super antifire potions. Everywhere else go with the prayer one.

No, I just forgot what penance does. Just use one when the other runs out. It doesn't really matter. I guess prioritize penance vs low defense monsters if you must.

Generally Greater Reverence (Or its higher tiers Master and Supreme) is best for slayer but you can use Penance between recharge periods if you have a task that deals a lot of damage.

I am personally just saving my points so I can continue to upgrade my reverence.
