November 27, 201213 yr The three main ganodermic pieces give 487.5 armour, while the three virtus pieces give 520 armour. This is about a 6.7% increase in armour (actually less since you'll already have other items like cape/gloves etc.). If you think this defence increase justifies the pricetag on virtus, then by all means go ahead :P In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
