Need some slayer tips

I am currently racing a friend of mine to max cape, but slayeris holding me back.

Any tips/tricks for slaying effectively?

What tasks do I block?

What tasks do I skip?

What tasks do I cannon?

Any minigames for daily/weekly xp I can Put towards slayer?

Should I try and focus on monster weaknesses or just kill everything with melee?

How long would it take from 75-99 slayer playing atleast 2 hours a day slaying?

No. Do not kill everything with melee. It will not end well, with them changing it so you almost *have* to use their weaknesses. (And there's some you can't hit with melee anyway like the flying spiritual mages in Armadyl's area.)

Slays all i do as for tasks to blow with the new weakness system every task is pretty well easy i do every task and im only 72 mage 74 range. You should have a range setup with bow crossbow and sone sort of throwing. Melee slash crush and stab set up. Mage staff n wand setup. Slay is alot easier to lv on eoc i got 82-85 this week. Just remember to check there weakness n exploit it. I have no summoning and low prayer also so you should be able to lv alot quicker. I have grifalaroos and spiritual mages blocked due to rubbish drops. Always use best slayer master you can.

Make a list of the ~12 tasks that offer the best xp/hr. Block the 6 most common NOT on that list, and skip the rest not on that list.

 

I don't know the new xp/hr but miths, steels etc. are good, apparently also ISW, while former best tasks like bloodveld are horrible. Abyssals are good now too. There is a bias towards high-level high-slayer monsters I think.
