Fastest way to get Void.

Basically i want to get myself a Void set. This includes all the Helms as well as a Deflector. I figured it might come in handy in situations where a shield is of better use than an Off Hand, for one.

Anyway, i remember hearing a few months ago that a very fast way to get Commendations was to have a friend lose against you in Conquest or something like that. Does that still work? And if so, how exactly does it work?

If that's doesn't work anymore, would the fastest way be just to stick to the Vet boat?

 

I'll have to start from scratch since i don't think i have any Commendations.

 

Also, would doing the Void Stares Back be worth it if the only reason for doing it is for Elite Void?

I'll have to spend about 10m or so to get my Construction and Crafting to 70 each ,which i don't mind, but i don't want to do that if the extra Prayer Bonus is hardly going to make a difference.

This weekend is double rewards points in Pest control, i don't know if it's extends to Conquest but i doubt it as it's only double rewards for combat minigames as well as some d&ds.

Some people argue that ehading into the lowest boat is the best way to get points as you have a higher chance of winning you games but you do tend to get more leeches.

 

The games are longer as you go up the boat levels but you get more tokens, the veteran boat gives 4 void point per win but this weekend it will give 8 points and the game tend to last about 5 minutes. So this weekend you can get 100+ points an hour.

 

Please note that i haven't played void since EoC has come live. So i don't know how long games tends to last. I assume the weakness of the monsters will vary meaning you can't have a boat full of meleers smashing their way through everything.

Atleast 1 themeworld (W53) is semi-active at the moment (not 25+ to instafill a boat, but enough to easily clear), so I'd give the themeworlds a try, even if they are often filled with garbage. As above, I'd likely expect this weekend to be very active, so it might be worth play at the moment. As for the difficulty in EoC, it is ridiculously easy. As long as you as using abilities, things go down very, very quickly.

Not exactly what you asked, but:

 

I did get all void pre EoC because void is hybrid and I assumed it might have some use in EoC. For the deflector I had to play Conquest and here is my point - I ended up loving it. Conquest is quite fun (unlike most of rs grind). So even if it is not the fastest way, I definatelly reccomend it.

 

If only there were more players there ...

Unless they nerfed PC in the last two weeks, you never lose games melee-spamming the portals in the vet boat on w53.
