Definition of "hit bonus"

Featured Replies

I'm kinda confused as to what "hit bonus" really is?

For instance my excalibur has both a "damage" and "hit bonus" stat.

Then what is the hit bonus? Is it the extra damage done when critting, or what does it mean?

I'm not sure if this has already been answered.. I hope someone can enlighten me on this topic :)

Most weapons do now show a hit bonus, because their accuracy is usually their level * 10.

However for some special weapons, such as EE in your case, their base level is 1, so their accuracy would have been merely 10. The Hit bonus is just extra accuracy given to the weapon.

So it really is just accuracy bonus to the weapon which would have otherwise lower accuracy due to its low level.
