Diomedus
Since the EoC, what are the good things to have bound? There's the new loadout things. Right now I have a katagon spear, katagon platebody, and t8 longbow,i had blood runes bound but then switched to a magical blastbox should i bind arrows instead since I like using range? what weapon(s) and armor? is the shadow silk hood still worth binding when I find one? also, should I upgrade my ring on something? or just save the tokens to get chaotics? and is there a good guide I can read to work on getting my floor times lower? from what i've been doing this weekend, it seems like using abilities instead of momentum helps a lot. i know to only kill creatures in guardian door rooms and don't skill. I prefer doing solo dg, teams are hard to find. thanks a lot! War is not about who's right, it's about who's left
Low C
Best 2h/maul, best range body, and best bow/arrows you can bind is wise. Yes ssh is still good but it can be replaced with offensive binds if you're good at managing death. Always upgrade ring as much as possible if you plan on continuing past your first chaotic if you want to be taken seriously in team dungeoneering. Stev
XP-Waste has great bind setups and descriptions. The thread, by Tui, can be found here.
Diomedus
Is there a clan chat or something where people help you get the best tier equipment? I think I remember hearing about that a long time ago. I can use gorgonite stuff but can't smith it. Quyneax
There's Dung Smith but they're out of business for the weekend. They should be back crafting stuff when the double xp weekend dies down. Given your stats, I think t11 ranged might be a good primary for you, with another style as backup. Diomedus
would it be better to have the backup style be melee or mage? melee seems like a good universal, but maybe that's just me being ingrained from years of playing. melee has higher defense, but if i have a range body bound, magic could be more usuable, but, melee I'm never going to run out of ammo, and my melee skills aren't maxed, so the xp isn't going to waste. Do you have opinions about that? War is not about who's right, it's about who's left
Quyneax
With a t11 staff, magic will never run out of ammo either. Defence is equal between all bodies of the same tier, so that's not the problem. Melee has much higher dps, but your magic weapon will be two tiers higher & you can always use the correct type spell with just 1 weapon. Not sure which is better.
