Hacked account / RS account support

Featured Replies

So recently my very first and loyal Runescape account has been hacked, they switched the password and the e-mail in wich the account is registred in. So I was told that the only was to get it back is to send a message to [email protected] and I so I did, and I can totally prove it's mine, since I own it since 2004... The problem is, I sent the e-mail with all the necessary stuff about three days ago, and got NO REPLY...

So this made me think, am I doing anything wrong? Does Jagex even answer to account help emails? What can I do to recover my account?

Thanks, hope anyone can help, was really feeling like getting back to runescape after a stoped year *sighs*

They take a very long time to reply to that email, there's a thread on tip.it (that I can't find) that said you will get a reply sooner if you email [email protected]

I emailed [email protected] about 7 times over the period of a year and never actually got a reply, I just thought I'd check if I could recover my account and found that they had removed the email tied to the account and not told me about it.

Man, I find this shit really unprofessional.. If I had the money I would sue Jagex, no doubt.. It's not that I love Runescape, but knowing someone stole my account makes me realise all that time was completely wasted, and I acutally paid like 2 years of membership, they can't just take my account only cuz I had a virus or some shit.. [bleep]in embarassment IMO..

Sue them for what? not replieing to an email...

I dont think you can hold them responsible for your password.

The best thing is to mail with there billingsupport they respond fairly quickly.

Are you guys sure that is the right e-mail address? I had some issues with JAG a while back, and when I e-mailed Jagex, I got a reply in less than 30 minutes.
