I have the current swiftkit download on my computer and it has been there for sometime when i get to the runescape loading page before the login screen. The loading page starts loading then gets to 100% and stops. The loading bar stops moving but the page is still there nothing happens. it wont take me to the login screen. This started yesterday. does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to get it to the login screen?

have you tried loading Runescape in safe mode? this can be done by holding down the "s" key while it is loading.

hmm. welli attemted that it didnt seem to work. I took some screen shots of it. It kinda changed it gets to 100% loading then the swift client screen just turns black.

I have the same problem. It looks like this. It freezes like this.

 

If I resize the screen it blackscreens. I've uninstalled java and swiftkit. I re-installed Java 6, not 7. Still no luck. I don't know what happened.

 

I also attempted to load in safe mode. Instead it goes straight to a black screen after the above pic gets to 100%

 

I can play on the client just fine. Its only swiftkit where it freezes.

Have you tried removing the jagex cache first before loading the game?

Well awesome the official response back from Jagex was to use safe mode, well that's just swell. Have you tired clearing your internet explorer cache?

Cleared the cache, no result. Still freezes on the same "Checking for updates 100%" screen.

 

Side note, rs 2007 loads fine with swiftkit.
