Need Help Maxing!

Hi all!

 

I'm returning to Runescape after about a year and I'd like to finally achieve my goal of maxing my account.

 

 

Anyway, I need to complete the following levels:

 

Farming 97-99

 

Woodcutting 95-99

 

Summoning 86-99

 

Mining 70-99

 

Slayer 80-99

 

If it matters every other skill is 99, and I should have at least 500m maybe closer to a bil to work with. However I'd prefer to make money than lose it on these skills.

And my bad, the question was what would be the most time efficient way to max out.

Start farming immediately. You should be fine just doing papayas or palms to 99. Use http://www.xp-waste.com/grimy-s-reference-spreadsheets-t3.html to help pick which trees to do.

 

Get 97 mining, to help with effigies from slayer. The best method is to drop gold at the lrc. Don't bother getting gold mining armor. Use a dragon pickaxe.

 

Then do 95-97 woodcutting at arctic pines. Drop the logs using your action bar. An adze is preferable to a dragon hatchet, but if you don't have one, don't bother getting one.

If you do not have the charms for 99 summoning after 99 slayer, rock barrage dagganoths.

 

Finish up mining and woodcutting.

97-99 farming: If you haven't done Livid Farm, now is the time. Torstol runs with juju potions, high tier Greenfingers aura and Remote Farming are great profit too, and not bad xp (I have 15m+ farming xp only from torstol). Trees aren't really useful compared to torstol especially since you mention you want to profit. 70-99 mining and 86-99 slayer take a while, plenty of time to max farming.

 

Woodcutting: C2 woodcutting (with fishing if you want fishing xp, but you maxed that) and arctic pines. C2 for only woodcutting probably requires a team to clear the dungeon for you to be better. Along with fishing, it's definitely faster.

 

Slayer: what Mere said.

 

Summoning: Icefiends in Ghorrock or dagannoths under Waterbirth, you should get this from slayer though.

 

Mining: Concentrated gold with urns+lava titan, dropping ores. The mining suit is actually worth it - it takes about 10 hours to get, you gain about 300-350k mining xp in that time, and you could've gotten about 600-650k doing granite in that time (so you lose ~5 hours). You earn back the 5 hours going from 80-99 mining. With about 4% bonus xp including urns, that's 125 hours for 11m mining xp. Not that you gain a whole lot, but hey free shiny armour :D.
