First of all, switch to a crystal bow as soon as you can, it's cheap and powerful. I'm assuming dragon crossbows are too expensive right now.

Upgrade to royal dragonhide for added defence, or use void for added damage. Use an amulet of ranging as well if you can afford it.

Until 70 ranged, try kiling dragons if you need money. Black/greater/lesser demons and waterfiends might be good xp, waterfiends are good for charms for sure.

Don't bother killing something for money unless it is your highest income. Just go for xp.

Well... you should be killing things for 90% of your highest income if it's good xp... (more than 6 minutes of your highest xp/h per hour).

That's really only valid when your highest income gives 0 xp. The percent at which it becomes worth it to range will vary based on the total productivity of your highest-income method. It's easier just to say what I said, I think.

I don't know why everyone suggests crystal bow when water fiends and black demons are weak to bolts, therefore not only would it be faster kills but it would also be cheaper to use the black salamander with harralander tar.

Sure against black dragons crystal bow is definitely worth it, but otherwise it's kind of meh~.

Also if you collect orbs, sea weed, noted ores, water runes(Only when the runes drop by themselves or with a charm and nothing else), blood runes, lanta seeds, dwarf seeds, noted sapphires, and snape grass you make a fair amount of cash from waterfiends. About 200-400k cash depending on luck alongside 140-200k+ xp/h depending on gear.

Another thing to note is to swap snakeskin boots for spined boots if you have the 50 defense requirement.
