looking for the best way to train range on f2p currently 38 looking to get to 50 any help would be appreciated

As far as I know, we're still trying to figure out the best creatures to train on at varying levels and combat styles (if it's this messed up for F2P, I can only imagine what it's like for members :?).

 

I did 40-60 on lesser demons in the Karamja resource dungeon, but that was back before Rejuvenate got nerfed so I don't know how good they still are. I've also heard that Flesh Crawlers in the Stronghold of Security are good.

 

As for gear, that's a lot easier. Get carapace armor now and then green d'hide armor and vembraces (keep using the carapace helm) when you hit level 40. Use a Maple shortbow and the best arrows for it (up to Mithril) you can afford to buy in bulk.

I wouldn't train on Lesser demons until you got at least 50 Ranged, since a Maple bow didn't appear to be accurate enough for me at Lv. 38.

But then by the time you can kill Lessers properly, you would already be at your target level, so that would be pointless.

Stronghold of Security monsters seem like a good option as mentioned above.

there is currently a glitch where you can use adamant arrows whith the maplpe bow, however you only need 1 adamant arrow equipped, then start spamming skills. you dont loose the arrow.

That's not a glitch, abilities require no ammunition.

True, but Maple bows shouldn't be able to use arrows higher than Mithril.

Do you need 40 ranged to use addy arrows as well?
