Starter Quests

What are some of the best quests in terms of experience gain for a newer player? Both free and member quests can be considered.

 

I have never been a runescape subscriber before this week, so if you can give the entire quest name and the start location that would be awesome. Thanks guys!

If you are just talking skill exp, which I think you are, Tip.it has a nice Quest Experience Guide that tells you all the quest that give you exp toward which skills and any skill you choose. Clicking on the quest name give pulls up the quest guide which starts with start location. However, as an added tip, from another topic, this pretty much what I think you should do.

 

I would recommend all of them. Ultimately some day pretty much every quest eventually leads to an unlock of something decent, they all offer reasonable experience rewards for their levels and they all offer something a bit different to do.

 

Those who do only the necessary quests to get the big rewards (eg glacors or automatons etc) often come unstuck as there is a certain inevitability that quests will be a requirement for something big eventually. This means when something big does come they are stuck in the situation where they have 10+ quests to do to unlock it, conversely doing all quests on the assumption they are likely to lead to something big eventually you are only ever 1 quest away from the big rewards when they arrive.

 

That said, you seem like a totally new player so you might come back to ask for advice about money making, transportation and such. I suggest using the search function and finding topics about Quest or being a new player. I can suggest a few quest series if you still need it.
