September 3, 201312 yr I recently sold my Drygores to get a Virtus Wand/Book. Mainly for Nex Soloing. But it seems like I'm not getting anywhere near the DPS I should be getting. I have failed the Blood Phase on Nex 10 times now. Someone on forums said that Virtus Wand/Book killed QBD faster than Drygore/Torva. I tried it and it was a joke compared to even Drygore/Bandos. My ability bar is:Wrack, Concentrated Blast, Impact, Chain, Combustion, Wild Magic, Asphyxiate, Metamorphosis, Anticipate, Freedom, Surge, Mage Pray I treat the Virtus exactly like Magic Drygores in that I do nothing but spam abilities, mainly 1-3. Should I be waiting to time an Auto Attack with an ability or something? Also, this isn't my first post on TIF, I am Lugia0013 from years ago. A bit over 2 years ago, I got hacked for 4 Phats. The hacker took over my email and probably disabled my old TIF account since my password doesn't work.
September 3, 201312 yr That's because they made it so you your magic damage is now capped at the level of your weapon.
September 3, 201312 yr Are you sure you didn't trade your drygores for a tomato? A purple tomato looks suspiciously like a wand crammed into a book, but doesn't offer the strength of tier 90 weaponry. You'll need seismics or use ascension / drygores (which is considerably cheaper...).

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
September 3, 201312 yr Author Read about it, needless to say I bought my Drygores back and I'm lucky more people don't know about this, or i would have taken a big loss on Virtus gear. Cue Virtus Wand crash in 3, 2, 1.
September 3, 201312 yr Actually, I would see Virtus wand/book going up as more people sell their Wand of treachery/Ahrim's in favor of Virtus (since, y'know, Seismic is way overpriced and Virtus wand/Book is still better than Chaotic staff.)
