In the Slayer Guide, under REWARDS(SMOKING KILLS) it states:

 

If you Taverley any task, you will have to complete another 5 tasks again to start gaining points. You also gain additional points at every 10th and 50th task completed in a row, receiving 5x and 15x points, respectively. It is recommended to get a task from the highest Slayer master you can use for the 10th and 50th task, to maximise your points.

 

 

I'm not sure that Taverleying tasks is common practice.. :razz:

I, goldelpack, hereby pledge to never support known gold selling sites. I will not buy any gold or items from any shady dealers. I will not use a bot, nor by my silence allow friends or acquaintances to believe that I support botting or gold selling in general. I will be part of the solution. I will also report those spamming gold and those obvious bots.

It isn't common practice due to the detriment mentioned, but since the 'Troll Warzone' makeover the slayer master is unquestionably within Taverley opposed to Burthorpe so it makes not sense to talk of 'Buthorping' a task to newer players.

Thanks goldelpack, I've clarified that section now. It reads:

 

 


If you change your current task by getting a new task from the Taverley slayer master, your slayer task count will be reset and you will have to complete another 5 tasks again to start gaining points.

 

That way we manage to avoid using terms such as Burthorping or Taverleying :). You've been credited for your help.
