November 5, 201312 yr I put a lot of effort creating this pure in around 2010/11. I have recently returned to the game, but I can't get the hang of 1 def PvP in EoC as I'm at a major lifepoints disadvantage compared to armour wearing players What should I do with it?
November 5, 201312 yr Get 50-70 defence for barrows armour and either 80 or 90 a/attack for chaotics or drygores. get 99 summoning/prayer. I'd go for either 75-80 attack for using staff of light/greater runic staff/chaotic staff (staff is worth it though the damage soak effect isn't that big-> runic), a godsword in inventory for the smash ability and a royal crossbow. leave strength be range/mage = uber ownage in eoc Or leave the defence be and get 99 prayer/summ and see for yourself how much the defence matters now. 50 is doable for warband victims otherwise get it up. To be honest, RIP ownage pure. Sway all day, Butterfly flaps all the way! ✿ ♥‿♥)
November 5, 201312 yr Since you're already 99 ranged, you can go ahead and get 99 attack, strength, prayer, magic, constitution and summoning without affecting your combat level. I don't know whether that's worth it (in light of VORK's post), but you can do it. However, levels higher than that required for the weapons and abilities you want to use are probably not really worthwhile, and since you'd want to stick to riskable weapons (hint: not t90 weapons) you don't really need to go past 80. Royal crossbow is cheap and t80, polypore is cheap and t75 (and comes with Vengeance, if you have the defence level for it) and godswords are cheap and t75 plus Smash, as VORK writes (Smash disables your opponent's protect prayer).
