November 24, 201312 yr No, it's part of the balancing of familiars, as far as I know. What helps is *not* calling your tortoise into combat (that triggers attacking). November 24, 201312 yr Torts are just a pita with that; you just have to grin and bear it or use other BoBs. Yak of course is optimal, but when limited by level the pig bob can be a tort alternative if you really want to avoid using it - at lvl 84 it actually holds more than the tort.
