Farming Pineapples Time ?

Featured Replies

I read all over the place that pineapples take 14 hours to grow, the lot I have on the go at the moment

have so been been growing 24 hours and still not quite developed fruit ?

I am using super compost and paying the gardeners to look after the patches.

Think I maybe be better off  growing willow trees.

Very roughly speaking, if you're logging in or out before a growth cycle (2 hours-ish?) completes, you reset your pineapple tree's growth and have to wait more.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Got it, thanks.

Also don't forget that disease can lengthen the plants growth times.

How disease works is:

At the end of a growth cycle the plant grows or becomes diseased.

A diseased plant does not grow and has to repeat that cycle (getting another chance to grow if cured or dying if not)

A plant you pay to protect can still get diseased it is just instantly cured, but yeah again every time it gets diseased and insta-cured can add hours to the growth time.
