not just normal music..

may sound strange..

but im looking for music that sounds like it would be in one of Tim Burtons movies..

lot of orchestral(sp?) stuff.. not very many, if any, lyrics

example:

"Jack and Sally Montage" from the Nightmare Before Xmas movie.

or

the corpse bride theme song.

Bach, Mozart. Chopin. John Williams. Theater of Tragedy. Blue October. Can't think of anything else.

You could try Hans Zimmer, at least, that's completly orchestrial o_O.

trying to think of bands with not many lyrics, I know many very orchestrial bands, but they have a lot of lyrics :) .

Yeah Hans Zimmer is a modern composer. I'd check out his piece "Roll Tide", realy great. :) .

Hmmm.

Something called "Tubular Bells" i think, its like the alton towers theme, a whole album of it...i can't remember the name of the artist though.

It's by Mike Oldfield. But it's not the Alton Towers theme, that's In The Hall of the Mountain King. Tubular Bells was used in the Exorcist.

Dreaming of that face again

It's bright, and blue, and shimmering

Grinning wide

And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes
