July 17, 201411 yr Would it be better to buy an ascension pair outright or try to hunt for signets to lower monetary costs? I assume the first option is best, but I am wondering if anyone managed to do the second one. I imagine the second option can cost a lot more money and time if I end up unlucky. I value my time at about 5m/hr.
July 17, 201411 yr I'd at least buy the mainhand, so even if you decide to hunt for the offhand and get screwed over by bad luck, at least you have the mainhand. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

And since time is money, it might be better to just buy one and make cash using a more reliable method, but it's your choice :P.
