July 28, 201411 yr Are there any new connectivity problems in the last 12 hours or so? I logged out of the game last night and everything was fine. Tried to connect this morning and the launcher won't load. Tried going to the website in 2 different browsers and I can't even get that to load. Everything else works fine. Launcher message: There was an error loading the game configuration from the website.Chrome message: This website is not available.Firefox message: Connection has timed out. The server is taking too long to respond. I've cleared the cache, restarted my laptop and haven't installed anything new.
July 29, 201411 yr Same issues here. http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/runescape.com Edit: You can also try going to http://world##.runescape.com/game and just replace the ## with what world you want.

Yay, I don't have to worry about loading their lousy, oversize Java applet to log in and protect my small handful of Display Names anymore! Heck, the game's been dead for ages, and the community destroyed by Jagex constantly making people want to ragequit and leave, all through awful changes made to the game! So I'll be glad, seeing that they've shot themselves in the foot and failed to weather whatever took them out! Those nutcases are finally buried in the dirt and nobody will see them anymore, and in a few months, nobody will speak of them anymore either! I get to enjoy not seeing their rotted corpses, because they're all completely lost in the sands of time! =D> And just for those who didn't get how much of a bad joke that was, enjoy this emote... :mrgreen: ~D.
