I've recently trained my hunter from 1-67 in the past 3 days and have now got to the "grind-ish" state of the skill on Red Chinchompa's, I've tried to work out how long it would take myself but Chins are too inconsistent and random...

 

My question to any of you Hunter pros is, how long will it take me to go from 67-83 in hours preferably?

I think red salamanders are faster

I've also heard this but at my current level I only see a 4k xp difference per hour, so I'd rather stick it out for the profit.

If you do the 1 spawn method probably around 20 hours at Red chins. I would advise going to Black chins at 80 though.

4 boxes around 1 chinchompa spawn, correct?

What xp rate per hour ate you assuming with Chins

At 70 I currently get 55k-60k/hr

At least 33 more hours

As soon as you hit 80 hunt and can use 5 traps at a time you should see at least a 10-15k xp/hr increase. At 85 hunt I was averaging around 82k xp an hour at red chins.

 

Depending on your combat level you may not want to go to black chins at 80 due to pkers. If you're between 60-90 combat or so you can expect to be interrupted quite a bit which will slow down your xp.

Have a friend/multilog your level and attack you with flowers
