Hi, I received my first Nihil slayer task and am really unsure as to how to go about it given the varied nature of the Nihil in terms of attack types and weaknesses. Is there a preferable combat style to use? Given there are three of each type, is it considered more sensible/efficient to stick with one or two type of Nihil because they have similiar weaknesses or their attacks are less damaging? I am aware of the importance of the shard of Zaros but otherwise need advice.

Wielding the shard of zaros apparently makes them non-aggressive: [qfc]299-300-99-65452057[/qfc].  Then you can go target the types you want due to the fairly fast respawn rate, it seems.

The Smoke Nihil seem the weakest.

 

Also, the above - I forgot my Shard of Zaros, spawned Nihil for Slayer, and died within just a few seconds when they all piled me ~.~

I usually bring ranged and only kill smoke and shadow nihil.

I ignore blood because if you are too slow, their immunity/healing special attack is a huge time waster.

Ice drains your prayer. Enough reason to not kill them.

Exactly this - respawn rates are so much faster that you will never be waiting for a Smoke or Shadow to kill.
