September 16, 201411 yr So, I've recently started playing this and there is something I don't quite understand... Some places have more than 1 type of fish, but how do you find it? I've gotten 4/6 types of fish to 100% tackle, but I can't seem to find the other 2 types. I check each and every spot available in the area and I still can't seem to find the others. Is there something I'm missing? It's quite frustrating to be honest. QUITNDELETE

September 16, 201411 yr Some places just have two fish with completely different tackles. As mentioned, using the FC should help out with getting clues. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
September 16, 201411 yr For the spots with 2 types of fish, depending on the percentage that your bait / hook / weight combo gives you, you'll get either one fish or the other. Inefficiency = fun. That's objective and can't be debated. Ever. September 16, 201411 yr The spots will 2 fish will give you whichever fish your setup offers the highest percentage for, sometimes when finding 100% you'll notice you jump between the species enroute. Once you have found one at 100% just change ur tackle hook and weight to something completely different and then start focusing on the 2nd species alone.E.g. If spot is salmon and cod and you have 100% salmon and are looking for cod if at any point you start catching salmon undo that setup change. September 16, 201411 yr wow, it's as simple as that? :| i felt too daft to ask that question but always did miserably because of it :(
September 18, 201411 yr Author It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it Baileydafrog. Plus the friends chat "2flingfish" helps immensely QUITNDELETE
September 18, 201411 yr Fish flingers is alot easier than you might expect overall. knowing each hook/weight/bait is only used for one fish per game + 2 step method + fcs = epic easy For anyone who doesn't know:2 Step method is a way to find the correct bait/hook/weight in 2 steps for any given fish, based on the fact you get 0% 16% or 33% subject to correctness (numbers aren't exact for all cases cause rounding but close enough that you can follow it) For bait:Every bait has 2 similar - 1 by colour and 1 by shape you can arrange them into a circle of sorts using this (worm, shrimp, crayfish, grey moth, green moth, locust, cricket, maggot, back to worm) so each one is between the two similar (e.g. worm is same shape as maggot and same colour as shrimp) You pick a bait that hasn't been used at random (e.g. worm) - see percent. Then pick a bait that is 3 steps away on the 'circle' (e.g. grey moth) - view percent: No change in percent means they are both equal wrong, eliminating 2 colours and 2 shapes for 6/8 baits (e.g worm, shrimp, crayfish, grey moth, green moth and maggots) Leaving just 2 possible baits (e.g. cricket or locust)If the percent drops by 16% it is similar to where you started (e.g. shrimp or maggot)If the percent drops by 33% you were right before (e.g. worm)If the percent goes up by 33% you are correct now (e.g. grey moth)If the percent goes up by 16% you need a similar bait (e.g. crayfish or green moth)For no change and + or - 16% just change to 1 of the two +16% shift means the other, 33% shift means correct. For hooks it is a similar process but simpler as hooks are in similar pairs (regular and slim, large and double, wood and bone)Pick a hook (e.g. regular) - see percentChange to a non-similar hook (e.g. wood) - see percentNo change - it's in the other pair (e.g. large or double)+16% - other one of current pair (e.g. bone)-16% - other one of original pair (e.g. slim)+33% - your right (e.g. wood)-33% - original was right (e.g. regular) For weights again very similar, but quite easy, similar weights are 1 either side (so 1 and 3 are similar to 2)Start with 2 or 5 weight (for e.g. lets go 2) - see percentSwap to the other (e.g. 5) - see percent-16% - 1 or 3+16% - 4 or 6-33% - 2+33% - 5 Using the method with a bit of practice you can get the combos very quickly, bait is the hardest bit to remember the order and as on fish 6 there is gonna be 3 options left. But as you find each combo it makes the next ones easier as you eliminate options so by the time you go to fish 6 you should get 66% on first cast. Plus of course grabbing the hint from the shop guy before the game starts helps you know when a certain option belongs to a certain fish.E.g. if he said cod like red bait and you have used shrimp but not got cod you know nothing can be worms other than the cod.
