November 21, 201411 yr Hello. I just got a drop from Basilisks called Basilisk boots. I tried to find them in your database, but could not. Someone needs to walk me through getting a decent screenshot to post, however the stats are: Armour: 31Type: RangedLevel 40 When you examine them it says: Try not to look directly at them, just to be safe. High Alchemy: 1152gp each My Ironman account.
November 21, 201411 yr Thanks for your submission! It seems all we needed was the high alch price so it's been added now :). For the future though, to answer your other question, to take a screenshot is not difficult: simply use 'Prtsc' or similar key on your keyboard (you may have to hold down a function key like 'Fn' simultaneously if it's a layered key). Then you can paste it into your favorite image software, i.e. Microsoft Paint, and crop it down to some reasonable size. You then upload it to a site (say, imgur), and put the link in here in image tags so we can see it. Just a link to the image would also work fine. By any chance, would you mind sharing how you get the high alchemy price for an item without alching it? Did you take it to a specialty store? November 22, 201411 yr Also if you are on a mac making a screenshot goes like this: Command + Shift + 4 (allows you to select what part you want to screenshot) If you press space after that you can screenshot the window you are currently hovering above.Command + Shift + 3 (screenshots your whole screen) The screenshot will be on your desktop :) (something that windows screenshot should do to imo) after that you need to follow the other guidelines arceus gave. http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. November 22, 201411 yr Author I get the high alch price every time I right click and examine something in my inventory. I play in Legacy mode. Apologies for taking so long to reply, I completely forgot about this thread. My Ironman account.
November 22, 201411 yr Hmm...I turned on Legacy and examined them, but all I seem to get is the G.E. price. Maybe I need to change a setting somewhere? November 22, 201411 yr Ironman accounts only get alch price, not GE price. You can get high alch prices by checking the Sell Items tab in a shop, and doubling the number that appears for an item. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
November 22, 201411 yr I know that shop buy price = low alch, but do you mean 1.5x instead of 2x for the high alch price then, and is that true for every item? Because 768*1.5 = 1,152 (and other items seem to have that ratio either). "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." If I remember correctly from my time as a crewbie the website will automatically add the high alch when you add a low alch price. http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. November 22, 201411 yr It seems that it does not at present :P. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art? --- My blog here if you want to check out my Times articles and other writings! I always appreciate comments/feedback.
November 22, 201411 yr Sell to shop is 30% now, not 40%. It's 30% regardless of shop type too, whether general or specialty. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
