February 22, 200620 yr Hello! The idea of this topic came out a conversation with my friend. I speak Dutch, and when we talk about runescape in our own language (not English), it's suprising how many items/names used in RuneScape aren't translated. For example, there's a perfectly dutch word for ' coal ' (steenkool), but it's quite funny to use it, since coal is used in RuneScape. Other words like 2-hander, [insert weap here] long etc stay in English when i talk to my friend. Somebody has this too?
February 22, 200620 yr I myself am fron Iceland and I regularly speak english with my Icelandic friends merely because of the censor(spelling?). RS dosent support the Icelandic letters either, so there isn't much I can write in Icelandic anyways. DOWN WITH THE USELESS CENSOR :!:

One might tend to think Jagex has a problem with language as a whole, perhaps they walk about the office and grunt ? Who knows..
February 22, 200620 yr Its kinda annoying to speak swedish in runescape... You cant use the swedish letters, ÃÆÃââââ¬Ã¦ ÃÆÃââââ¬Ã¾ ÃÆÃââââ‰â¬Å, And jagex also censor an good amount of our words...
February 22, 200620 yr There was (dunno do they still exist) a rather old Finnish rs site made by Lord Timppa. He had translated every word into Finnish and to be honest, that site was more of a joke than actually helpful.
