October 9, 201510 yr wow why can't i regenerate my health in a shadow over Ashdale. I'm up against those squid things and now i died after 3 fights going further in or so. when i go to return to Ashdale I'm back immediately where I died AND i brought new cooked food-yet i can't regenerate my health. what's up with that. I went back a ways and found a dead guy's journal and i read it. that squid or whatever they call it won't stop one hitting me because I died. bummer.-I've gotten past the valve wheel put together etccheers_soul
October 10, 201510 yr I have no idea what you are talking about tbh. You can eat and heal the same as anywhere else in the game for that quest. Unless you mean when you get to the patrolling 'tanky' guys that are walking over very unsubtle spike holes and give you a very unsubtle cutscene showing you a lever - those guys 1 hit you if they see you, the whole idea is you sneak behind/past them to the lever which activates the spikes killing them.
