Are these items of any use?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I just started playing RS again after a long time. I want to make some more room in my bank and thought about maybe ditching some items. Below I've posted a picture of a bunch of items in my bank. (Disregarding the mithril maces at the top left), Are any of these worth anything? Are they at all tradeable? And could I get them back if I threw them away?

Thanks for helping me out.

Your best bet is simply to try and destroy something, and pay close attention to any messages. I believe the game tells you if you can reclaim it or not? Also, that key at the bottom right looks like a crystal key, and if so, the chest to claim those is now in Taverley, just Northwest of the gate from Falador/Asgarnia.

Virtually all of those items are reclaimable from various sources for a small or zero fee. For example, the frog mask can be bought from Iffie in Thessalia's shop for 500 coins. The book is an unholy book, otherwise known as Zamorak's Book of Chaos, and can be reclaimed (on members) for free. It's essentially worthless now though, member or not.

You would probably want to keep the ring of kinship as it provides a handy teleport nearby to a bank and is of course needed if you want to train Dungeoneering. If you want to destroy it for space, though, you can easily acquire another by sailing there again.

I don't quite recognize what the gear is toward the right of the third row in tab 2 - perhaps it's more old holiday event stuff. For future reference if you withdraw stuff from the bank and check right click options, most event stuff will have a destroy option, and if you click it will ask you to confirm and remind you that you can get it back from a certain NPC. Hopefully that helps!

Thanks! I'll try that out!

Tab one the snowboard is django. Tab two up to frog mask is django and iffy stuff except the broom keep it. Everything else that is Death of Chivarly icon marked can be destroyed except the skull it's VERY IMPORTANT that you avoid destroying that if you want to avoid some heavy backtracking.

Thanks! I was able to free up about 25 spaces.

What's that blue thing in tab 2 that looks like a puppet carrying a big metal thing? :-k
